She embarks on a journey to Australia, Brazil, India, France and United Kingdom, to discover that, she is immortal. Hector Slorick, is her 500 year old mentor, who trains her to defeat Paignons, that threaten mortals and immortals alike. The Paignon king, Von Strickenstein, wants to strip Imogen of her unique abilities. She finds herself falling in love with a young aristocrat, Rupert De Guais and experiences elements of innocence, betrayal, death, seduction and conflict. She realises that she is very different from other immortals known as Arcs, but just how different?
